Fertilizer stocks trade higher after GoM okays hike in fixed cost of urea

Fertilizer stocks are trading in fine fettle after Government has okayed hike in fixed cost of Urea by Rs 350 per tonne. The Urea fixed cost will be valid up to 1 year.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 38.70, up by 0.40 points or 1.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 38.30 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 38.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 39.40 and Rs. 37.60 respectively. So far 174516 shares were traded on the counter.

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers is currently trading at Rs. 31.75, up by 0.55 points or 1.76 % from its previous closing of Rs. 31.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 30.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.05 and Rs. 30.70 respectively. So far 188591 shares were traded on the counter.

National Fertilizers is currently trading at Rs. 23.75, up by 0.75 points or 3.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 23.00 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 22.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 24.30 and Rs. 22.75 respectively. So far 113052 shares were traded on the counter.
