A major fire broke out in one of Future Lifestyle Fashions distribution centers situated at Jigni, Bengaluru on January 30, 2013. The fire could be controlled only after few hours. The company’s inventory warehoused in the said distribution center has been substantially damaged.
However as the company has got other distribution centers as well, there would be no impact on the company’s operations. The inventory of the company is fully insured.
Future Lifestyle Fashions has been formed through the demerger of the lifestyle fashion businesses of Future Retail (formerly Pantaloon Retail (India)) and Future Ventures India. It has a strong portfolio of owned and licensed brands and has established retail presence pan-India.
