The FIIs on Friday were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1839.70 crore against gross sell of Rs 1693.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 146.10 in equities on June 10, 2011.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 644.80 crore with gross sales of Rs 1134.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 489.40 crore in debt on June 10, 2011.
