Balmer Lawrie gains on acquiring business undertaking of ‘Vacation Exotica’

Balmer Lawrie is currently trading at Rs. 308.20, up by 4.40 points or 1.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 303.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 305.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 308.30 and Rs. 305.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 410.00 on 31-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 296.60 on 20-Nov-2013.

Balmer Lawrie & Company has taken over business undertaking of the premier holiday brand ‘Vacation Exotica’ by way of sale/transfer from Vacation Exotica Destinations along with its employees and business. The takeover is an endeavor by the company to expand its value proposition and strengthen its foothold in the Tours Domain.

Balmer Lawrie & Company, a Government company and a Mini-Ratna Category / Public Sector Enterprise, operates one of the largest travel agencies in India affiliated to IATA.
