Birla Corporation has declared suspension of work at the Company's Birla Vinoleum and Auto Trim Division at Birlapur with immediate effect. These units were under 'Lay-Off' since November 17, 2009 and August 28, 2012 respectively and no production activity were being carried out.

Birla Corporation operates four division cement, jute, vinoleum and auto trim. It has eight manufacturing facilities located in Pune, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gurgoan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
