According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 2151.53 crore in index futures and options segments as per Tuesday’s data, February 25, 2014.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1046.34 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1105.19 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 275.29 crore, while they bought stock options worth Rs 14.53 crore.
