FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on December 12, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net sellers in equities while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1769.50 crore against gross sell of Rs 2061.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 292.20 crore in equities on December 12, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4171.50 crore with gross sales of Rs 1971.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2199.90 crore in debt on December 12, 2011.
