Essar Steel is planning to raise product prices by around Rs 1,000 per tonne next month. This is primarily on the back of cost push along with some demand uptick in the fourth quarter. The company has witnessed increase in demand for exports in recent months and expects the momentum to continue.

Essar Steel is having a total steel manufacturing capacity of 14 million tonne per annum with presence in India, Canada, the US, West Asia and Asia.
