Bharti Airtel rings loud on forging partnership with Etisalat

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs 289.55, up by 2.05 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs 287.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 289.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs 290.50 and Rs 287.60 respectively. So far 52758 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 373.50 on 01-Nov-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 266.95 on 05-Apr-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 292.15 and Rs 282.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 115824.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.23% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.53% and 10.24% respectively.

Etisalat has entered into partnership with Bharti Airtel to set up a multi-service regional network infrastructure node in Etisalat’s SmartHub facility in the region. This all new multi-service regional network will allow Etisalat to reach out to key global business hubs such as Africa and India through Airtel’s extensive network and Airtel will be able to provide advanced data services to its customers in the Middle East and Africa. Etisalat’s Smarthub is the region’s largest capacity, content, internet and data hub in the Middle East.
