IOC to acquire stakes in LNG terminals in Gujarat and Maharashtra: Report

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is reportedly planning to acquire stakes in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals at Mundra and Dahej in Gujarat and Dighi, Maharashtra. Besides, the company is in talks with three foreign companies for the proposed Rs 4,512 crore LNG terminal project at Ennore, near Chennai. Also the company is looking for shell gas in US and other countries.

IOC is the largest enterprise in the country and the foremost ranked Fortune Global 500 Company in India and has presence in the complete hydrocarbon value chain from downstream refining & marketing, pipeline transportation, Petrochemicals, E&P and Gas Marketing.
