Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 1,18,183.50 crore on March 05 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 37,51,107.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 9,634.83 crore, Stock Futures Rs 18,206.23 crore and Index Options Rs 81,533.61 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 8,808.83 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 1.14, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.24 and that of Stock Options was 0.49 .
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Ambuja Cements 1.62, Axis Bank 1.43, BoB 1.40, Hind Petro 1.20, and Rel Infra 1.12.
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed contraction of 0.13 million of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Auro Pharma witnessing addition of 0.29 million of Open Interest in the March month contract; ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 0.31 million of Open Interest in the March month futures. YES Bank witnessed a contraction of 1.19 million of Open Interest in the March month contract and Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.30 million in Open Interest in the expiring March month’s future contract.
