Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) has entered into a Joint Venture (JV) agreement with Gujarat Fluorochemicals and Navin Florine International for fluorspar beneficiation project. The JV will be in the form of a separate company in which GMDC will own 50% equity.
GMDC is engaged in business of mining and mineral processing. The company manufactures two grades of fluorspar namely acid and metallurgical. It owns two bauxite reserve located at Kutch and Jamnagar.
