SREI Infrastructure’s JV company to raise Rs 1,500 crore

In a bid to fund its growth plans, tower infrastructure firm Viom Networks is planning to raise Rs 1,500 crore. In this regard, the company has appointed Credit Suisse and Citigroup as its bankers to help raise Rs 1,500 crore of primary growth capital. Moreover, the company is in talk to marquee investors and also parallely understanding and getting more details about the international listing requirement.

Viom Networks, a Tata Teleservices and SREI Infrastructure joint venture (JV) is one of the country's largest telecommunications infrastructure company with over 90,000 tenancies on 40,000 towers across India. Tata Teleservices has a 54 per cent stake in the JV, while SREI Group holds 18.5 per cent.

SREI Infrastructure Finance’s businesses include infrastructure equipment leasing and finance, infrastructure project finance, advisory and development, insurance broking, venture capital, capital market and Sahaj e -Village.
