Crompton Greaves soars on bagging order worth euro 2 million

Crompton Greaves is currently trading at Rs. 146.60, up by 1.05 points or 0.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 145.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 146.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 147.95 and Rs. 145.50 respectively. So far 47937 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 154.10 on 11-Mar-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 71.70 on 25-Jun-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 154.10 and Rs. 131.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9238.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.51% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.28% and 14.98% respectively.

Crompton Greaves has bagged an order worth euro 2 million to provide two power transformers and one Gas Insulated Switchgear to Ukrainian electricity utility Odessa Oblenergo for its Marazlievskaya substation. Installation and commissioning of the equipment is expected to be completed by end-2014.

Odessa Oblenergo supplies electricity to the city of Odessa in Ukraine and other surrounding areas.
