Shoppers Stop’s wholly owned subsidiary - Crossword Bookstores has opened one ‘Crossword’ franchisee store at Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan. With the opening of this store, there are now 89 ‘Crossword’ stores.

Earlier in February, Crossword Bookstores opened one 'Crossword' franchisee store at Raipur.

Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper's Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
