Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Wednesday due to absence of follow-up buying at higher levels in the market.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 146.50/ kg and Rs144/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, contract of March delivery weakened to Rs 143.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 143.67, while April delivery closed at Rs 149.01 compared to its previous closing of Rs 149.46 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
