NBCC is reportedly planning to redevelop three government housing projects worth Rs 5,000-6,000 crore in other parts of the country. The company has signed an agreement for makeover of a government building in Bhubaneswar, while an agreement for another two projects in Kolkata and Bhopal are likely to be signed.
National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) is a Schedule 'A' Mini Ratna Company. The company is one of the few public sector companies engaged in the business of project management consultancy services for civil construction projects (PMC), civil infrastructure for power sector and real estate development.
