Reliance Communications (RCOM), India's second-biggest mobile carrier, has unveiled a new tariff plan ‘Mera Pack Rs 148’ for its customers in a bid to take over competition. This plan offers its subscribers 1,000 minutes of local calls within Reliance network and 500 local minutes to any other network on a recharge of Rs 148.
Both Reliance GSM and CDMA customers can avail this offer. Further, the customer can do multiple recharges of the pack and accumulate the minutes to his balance. The minutes are valid for a 30-day period.
Recently, RCOM had signed up 2 million wireless subscribers in September this year, taking its total customer base to over 117 million. The company added 2 million wireless subscribers on its GSM and CDMA platforms in the month of September.
