Allcargo Logistics has inked an agreement with Swedish heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania, whereby it will lease the latter’s trailers for its logistics operations. Scania is yet to gain a foothold in the Indian commercial vehicle space, which is dominated by Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland. The Swedish company’s vehicles are technologically superior to their Indian counterparts and have a higher price tag.
