According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 4.55 crore in index futures and options segments as per saturday’s data, March 22, 2014.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 7.78 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 3.22 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 15.02 crore, while they sold stock options worth Rs 3.28 crore.
