Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 438.90, up by 9.30 points or 2.16 % from its previous closing of Rs. 429.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 431.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 439.00 and Rs. 430.10 respectively. So far 32353 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 459.80 on 19-Mar-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 256.00 on 06-Aug-2013.

BPCL is reportedly planning to invest Rs 2,800 crore at its Bina refinery in Madhya Pradesh in order to enhance the current capacity of refinery from 6 million tonnes per annum to 8.85 million tonnes per annum. Bina refinery was commissioned in January 2011 at an investment of Rs 12,500 crore and is currently working at 100 percent capacity. The planned investment will increase the availability of products for consumers in Madhya Pradesh.
