Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,06,432.00 crore on March 24 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 62,67,279.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 15,542.12 crore, Stock Futures Rs 32,208.66 crore and Index Options Rs 1,46,868.91 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 11,812.30 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 1.07, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.12 and that of Stock Options was 0.55.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were HDFC 2.02, Hindalco 1.63, ITC 1.47, Ultra Cement 1.44 and Voltas 1.38.
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed with contraction of 1.43 million of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by United Spirits witnessing contraction of 2.27 million of Open Interest in the March month contract; Reliance Industries witnessed contraction of 1.25 million of Open Interest in the March month futures. HDFC Bank witnessed contraction of 3.01 million of Open Interest in the March month contract and TCS witnessed contraction of 0.24 million in Open Interest in the expiring March month's future contract.
