Physical rubber prices improved marginally on Monday following a partial recovery in domestic futures on early trades.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 148/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 145/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 144/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of April delivery firmed up to Rs 146.59 compared to its previous closing of Rs 145.04, while May delivery closed at Rs 149.90 compared to its previous close of Rs 148.22 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
