Idea Cellular has reportedly unveiled application ‘musicHUB’. The application allows subscribers to download music, stream songs and also create personalized playlists in their preferred language.
The advertisement-free service also permits users to share songs through SMS, e-mail and across social networking platforms. The service includes songs from Bollywood, English and regional languages, is priced at Rs 29 a week, Rs 49 for 15 days and Rs 99 for a month.
Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles. The company has added 15.32 lakh new mobile subscribers in January, 2014. Following the addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 13.02 crore with a market share of 18.51%.
