The company was originally incorporated as ‘P. K. Hospitality Services Private Limited’ on March 23, 2000, as a private limited company, in accordance with the provisions of the erstwhile Companies Act, 1956, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation dated issued by the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Mumbai (RoC). Thereafter, the name of the company was changed to ‘PKH Ventures Private Limited’ pursuant to a special resolution passed by the shareholders of the company held on May 26, 2021 and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated June 10, 2021 was issued to the company by the RoC. Subsequently, the company was converted to a public limited company, pursuant to a special resolution passed by its shareholders at the extra ordinary general meeting held on August 7, 2021 and the name of the company was changed to ‘PKH Ventures Limited’ vide fresh certificate of incorporation dated August 20, 2021 was issued to the company by the RoC.
The company was established in the year 2000 by its dynamic and visionary chairman, Mr. Pravin Agarwal. Its journey started with providing varied services at various airports in India. It managed restaurants, bars, food stalls, lounges, parking spaces, ticket counters, etc at the airports. The company managed many airports in India. Due to reducing margins in the airport services business it decided to focus on setting up construction business, hotels and restaurants. It started with constructing its own hotels in Vasai (luxury hotel) & Andheri (boutique) and went on to execute multiple private and government construction projects from 2012 onwards.
It is in the business of Construction & Development, Hospitality and Management Services. It executes Civil Construction works for Third Party Developer projects. The company, post incorporation in the year 2000, was managing and operating restaurants, lounges, retail outlets, food stalls, bars, staff canteens and food supply at various airports across the country. The knowledge and experience of providing these services laid the foundation of its Hospitality vertical. The company developed hotels in Mumbai viz., Golden Chariot Vasai Hotel & Spa and Golden Chariot, The Boutique Hotel near Mumbai International Airport (Mumbai Hotels) and has been owning, managing and operating the Mumbai Hotels since FY 2015. It expanded its Hospitality operations into the restaurant space in Mumbai city by opening restaurants in the year 2013 under the brand name Golden Chariot and Balaji. Its Restaurant Casablanca at Sahara Star, Mumbai commenced operations in the year 2017. The QSR business under the brand name Zebra Crossing, Hardy’s Burger and Mumbai Salsa were also launched in the year 2017. In November 2021, the company extended its Hospitality offering by undertaking the management and operations of Juvana Resort and Spa, a luxury resort at Aamby Valley, Lonavala developed by Golden Chariot Retreats and Infra Private Limited, its Group company.
