Milestones
1992- Tulip Telecom started its operation in a small flat with only 4 employees. Tulip started its business by purchasing a box of floppies and reselling them.
1994- The company gained recognition of being among top 3 software resellers. It also decided to foray in IT system integration segment.
1995-It became the largest Compaq reseller.
1996- Tulip explored the avenues in area of wireless and telecom and started its operation in Chennai.
1997-Company started its operation in Bangalore and commenced selling telecomm products. It also created expertise in the field of wireless connectivity.
1998- Company received a major order worth Rs.9 crore.
2002- Company set up connectivity in rural India, that became the world’s largest rural network and world’s first entirely wireless district Mallapuram, Kerala.
2003- Company established a new office located at Okhla.
2004-The company experimented with the established of a VPN network across the country.
2007- The company expanded its location to 800 locations. The company set up a data center in New Delhi.
2010 - Tulip Telecom Ltd won 3rd prestigious R-APDRP Project.
2011 - Iomega launches video surveillance services; partners with Tulip Telecom, MindTree.
2012 - Tulip Telecom wins Rs. 87.23 crore Order for its new Bangalore Data Center from Unique Identification Authority
