Reliance Media Works, earlier known as Adlabs was founded in 1978 by Manmohan Shetty along with Vasanji Mamania. The company started as a small film processing unit that catered to ad films. In 1989, the firm entered mainstream cinema processing. Reliance ADAG stepped into the company in June 2005 by becoming majority promoter shareholder. Adlabs is now member of Reliance Anil Dirubhai Ambani Group.
