Jet Airways flight to London marks inaugural departures from Mumbai’s New Terminal 2

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has marked the international operations of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport with its inaugural flight to London Heathrow. The airline has already carried out terminal process proving flights to establish the operational and logistical readiness. Jet Airways’ flight 9W 118 from Mumbai to London Heathrow became the first international flight to take off from India’s most new, modern and spacious Terminal 2.

Following the first flight, Jet Airways will operate 9W 538 and 9W 544 to Dubai respectively. Jet Airways, with a fleet of 112 aircraft, offers an average of 25 international services to/from Mumbai to the Gulf, Far East, Europe, and North America providing seamless connections for all our guests.

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 112 aircraft, which include 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 8 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 4 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, 72 next generations Boeing 737-700/800/900/900 ER aircraft and 15 ATR 72-500 and 3 ATR72-600.
