Jet Airways to temporarily shift operations to Dubai World Central

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has decided to temporarily shift operations from Dubai International airport to Dubai World Central (DWC) from May 2014. The company is shifting its operations as runway upgrading work will be take up in existing airport from May 1, 2014. The upgrade work will last 80 days during which the runways will be closed alternatively -- the southern runway from May 1st to May 31st, and the northern runway from May 31st to July 20th, 2014.

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 112 aircraft, which include 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 8 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 4 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, 72 next generations Boeing 737-700/800/900/900 ER aircraft and 15 ATR 72-500 and 3 ATR72-600.
