Adani Power rise as FIIs increase stake in Q4FY14

Adani Power is currently trading at Rs. 52.00, up by 0.35 points or 0.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 51.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 52.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 53.00 and Rs. 51.90 respectively. So far 709054 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 62.40 on 21-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.45 on 05-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 59.25 and Rs. 50.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14991.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.42% and 17.58% respectively.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have increased shareholding in Adani Power to 6.84% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 6.54% in December 31, 2013. On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have reduced shareholding in the company to 0.58% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 0.63% as on December 31, 2013. Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding was unchanged at 75% at the end of March 2014 quarter.

Adani Power is engaged in the business of generation, accumulation, distribution and supply of power and to generally deal in electricity and to explore, develop, generate, accumulate, supply and distribute or to deal in other forms of energy from any source whatsoever.
