ICICI Bank plans to expand its electronic self-service branches into smaller cities

ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector bank is planning to expand its Touch Banking branches, 100% self-service electronic outlet, into smaller cities. The bank's Touch Banking branches are halfway between ATMs and full-fledged branch outlets. These branches, which are open on all days 24X7, help customers do real-time cash deposits, withdraw money, deposit cheques and get instant receipts, transfer funds, open fixed deposits and generate bank statements. It also offers account related information through Internet banking and video conferencing.

ICICI Bank is India's largest private sector bank and the second largest bank in the country, with consolidated total assets of $122 billion at December 31, 2012. The Bank’s presence currently spans 19 countries, including India.
