RInfra sees Rs 1,000-cr toll revenue by FY12

Reliance Infrastructure, part of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, will have eight toll roads by March that will generate revenues of Rs 1,000 crore in fiscal 2012.R Infra now has three toll roads totalling 380 km generating about Rs 25 crore. The company has 11 highway projects totalling 970 km worth about Rs 12,000 crore.

The company is the largest developer of six laning NHAI projects. Three of RInfra's projects are revenue generating and an additional five would be operational and revenue generating by this fiscal-end.The toll roads operational are Pune-Satara project, besides stretches on the Dindigul- Samayanallur and Namakkal-Karur highways.

RInfra road projects include the Kandla-Mudra road project of 90 km connecting both the ports, the Pune – Satara project of 140 km (six laning), the Delhi – Agra of 180 km and the Hosur – Krishnagiri project of 60 km. All these are National Highways Authority of India awarded contracts of build operate and transfer projects.
