Shree Cement has reported results for third quarter ended March 31, 2014.
The company has reported a fall of 18.81% in its net profit at Rs 222.51 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 274.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 15.44% at Rs 1714.56 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1485.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.
Shree Cement (SCL), belonging to B G Bangur - H M Bangur faction of Bangur family of Kolkata, is engaged in manufacturing of cement and power generation. SCL’s eight cement plants in Rajasthan and one grinding unit in Uttrakhand have an aggregate capacity of 13.5 mn tonnes p.a. (PPC; OPC capacity -9 mn tonnes p.a.).
