Xpro India surges on commencing commercial production at Bankura unit, West Bengal

Xpro India is currently trading at Rs. 30.00, up by 0.75 points or 2.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 29.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 30.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.40 and Rs. 30.00 respectively. So far 28 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 37.50 on 16-Sep-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.80 on 07-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 31.70 and Rs. 28.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 34.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.58% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.11% and 51.31% respectively.

Xpro India has commenced commercial production at highly sophisticated BOPP Dielectric (Capacitor) film unit located at Bankura in West Bengal with effect from May 02, 2014. This development is in line with company’s expansion plans in Bengal.

Xpro earlier reported that it was looking to invest Rs 200 crore to set up a new unit beside its existing plant at Barjora in Bankura district. Xpro has five manufacturing units located in Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
