Shiva Cement gains on reporting 15.5% rise in dispatch in April

Shiva Cement is currently trading at Rs. 2.10, up by 0.01 points or 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 2.09 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2.13 and Rs. 2.05 respectively. So far 141509 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3.48 on 11-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1.91 on 03-Dec-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2.19 and Rs. 2.02 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 39.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.11% and 62.74% respectively.

Shiva Cement’s dispatch of cement and clinker in the month of April 2014 has registered a growth of 15.5% comparing to April 2013. Moreover, the company’s dispatch during Q4 January-March 2014 rose by 12.3% comparing to previous year Q4 January-March 2013.

Shiva Cement is engaged in manufacturing of cement and allied products. Its plants are located at Kalunga and Sundargarh in Orissa. The company has a combined installed capacity of 177,000 tonnes per annum.
