ICRA has assigned a conditional rating to the PTCs issued by CREST Investment Trust Series II under the loan securitization programme of Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC). The Rs 60.00 crore issues consist of a single series of rated PTCs, backed by receivables from loan given to NSL Sugars (NSL).
The rating is conditional on fulfillment of all conditions under the structure, vetting of documentation and obtaining of an independent legal opinion on the transaction. The rating is based on the credit quality of the underlying Obligor and on the assumption that the transaction is valid under the prevalent regulatory guidelines on securitization.
As per the structure, IDFC will assign to the Trust all the receivables arising on the identified loan of Rs. 60 crore disbursed to NSL. The Trustee will issue a single series of pari passu PTCs. The scheduled PTC Payouts comprise the entire scheduled cash flow on the underlying loan.
