JBF Industries soars on arm inking MOU with Industry and Commerce Ministry of Bahrain

JBF Industries is currently trading at Rs. 99.00, up by 8.05 points or 8.85% from its previous closing of Rs. 90.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 92.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 101.95 and Rs. 91.75 respectively. So far 80,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 201.30 on 05-Jan-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 90.25 on 22-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 101.95 and Rs. 90.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 711.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 41.89% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.29% and 30.82% respectively.

JBF Industries’ subsidiary - JBF RAK LLC has signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Industry and Commerce Ministry of Bahrain to establish project in Bahrain to manufacture polyester film.

Earlier in May this year, JBF RAK LLC had entered in to a memorandum of understanding with BP Aromatics N.V. to build a PET facility in Geel, Belgium.

JBF Industries is engaged in the manufacturing of polyester chips, partially oriented yarn and polyester processed yarn/specialty yarn at its plants at Silvasa in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and at Valsad (Gujarat). The company is one of the leading names in Polyester business in India.
