Rural Electrification Corporation has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2014
The company has posted a rise of 24.09% in its net profit at Rs 1191.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 960.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 23.34% at Rs 4490 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3640.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.
For the year ended March 31, 2014, the company has posted a jump of 22.68% in its net profit at Rs 4683.70 crore as compared to Rs 3817.62 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company improved by 25.90% at Rs 17120.80 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 13598.67 crore for the period ended March 31, 2013.
For the year ended March 31, 2014, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 23.70% in its net profit at Rs 4741.25 crore as compared to Rs 3832.78 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 26.32% at Rs 17228.94 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 13638.70 crore for the period ended March 31, 2013.
