Punjab National Bank has informed that T. N. Chaturvedi, G. R. Sundaravadivel and D. K. Singla directors on the board of the bank, elected by shareholders other than the central government under clause (3)(i) of section 9 of the banking companies (acquisition and transfer of undertakings) act, 1970 read with the Nationalised banks (management and miscellaneous provisions) scheme, 1970 ceased to be directors with effect from December 27, 2011, consequent upon expiry of their term on December 26, 2011.
