Tata Motors’ arm JLR receives 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade

Tata Motors’ British-based arm Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR), has received a prestigious 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. The company received the award for outstanding overseas sales growth over the last three years.

The Queen’s Award is the perfect complement to Jaguar Land Rover being named Responsible Business of the Year 2013, recognizing its success internationally as well as the many positive ways the business contributes to society. The business’ outstanding overseas sales growth is reflected in the rise from 274,280 vehicles sold in 2011 to the 425,006 vehicles sold in 2013.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
