Deepak Nitrite strengthens on getting nod to sell land parcel in Pune

Deepak Nitrite is currently trading at Rs 99.00, up by 2.40 points or 2.48% from its previous closing of Rs 96.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 97.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 106.00 and Rs 96.60 respectively. So far 346638 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 100.00 on 20-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs 21.10 on 28-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 100.00 and Rs 89.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1033.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.56% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.34% and 36.10% respectively.

Deepak Nitrite has received its board's approval to sell a parcel of land admeasuring 12,141 square meters at Sinhagad Road in Pune, subject to receipt of all requisite approvals and permissions, based on the valuation report of renowned Independent professional firm.

The proposal to sell the said land is with a view to monetize the value of its unutilized assets and improve shareholders value by freeing up capital to facilitate growth. The Company will continue to make additional disclosures as and when definitive material events in this process take place.
