Karur Vysya Bank (KVB), a private sector lender, in order to increase its footprints has opened four new branches in state of Tamil Nadu. The bank has opened the branches at Vellore District, Villupuram District, Salem District and Coimbatore.

Karur Vysya Bank is among six old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
