Shree Renuka Sugars has denied the news appearing in a leading financial daily that it is increasing the stake or buying out majority shareholding in Renuka do Brasil S/A. The company stated that the news item is baseless and speculative in nature and it has no intention for the same.
Shree Renuka Sugars operates 11 sugar mills in India and Brazil with a total crushing capacity of 20.7 million tonnes per annum and two port-based refineries with sugar production capacity of 1.7 million tonnes per year.
