Karur Vysya Bank has inaugurated five new branches. The bank has opened its 429th branch at Bhilwara in Rajasthan on December 26, 2011.
Similarly, the bank has opened its 430th branch at Kondapur, Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh, 431st branch at Edappally, Ernakulam in Kerala, 432nd branch at Indiranagar, Bangalore and 433rd branch at Bharuch in Gujarat on December 28, 2011.
Recently, the bank opened eight new branches on December 15, 2011 at Hyderabad apart from branches at Tanuku, Gajapathinagaram in Andhra Pradesh, Tripunithura in Kerala, Kalapatti in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Bhiwandi in Maharashtra and Joka, Baruipur in West Bengal.
Karur Vysya Bank is among 6 old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
