Vijaya Bank has inaugurated eLobby and refurbished branch at Varadarajapuram near Singanallur. The bank’s branch will offer a cash deposit machine, passbook printer and ATM. The customers will make use of the eLobby and avail of the round-the-clock services. Moreover, the bank is targeting residential pockets for establishing the eLobby.
The bank posted a fall of 39.39% in its net profit at Rs 135.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 224.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 13.02% at Rs 3029.34 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2680.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.
