Escorts agri machinery segment (EAM), a subsidiary of Escorts, sold 6,689 tractors in June 2014, down by 1.48% against 6,790 tractors sold in June 2013.
Domestic tractor sales in June 2014 stood at 6,349 as against 6,743 tractors in June 2013. The export for the month of June 2014 surged to 340 tractors as that of 47 tractors in June 2013.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
