HSIL rises on commencing commercial production at Greenfield plant in Rajasthan

HSIL is currently trading at Rs 255.25, up by 4.05 points or 1.61% from its previous closing of Rs 251.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 253.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 257.00 and Rs 252.00 respectively. So far 2634 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 289.90 on 20-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs 70.75 on 02-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 278.70 and Rs 240.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1659.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.57% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.41% and 20.02% respectively.

HSIL has commenced commercial production at its Greenfield plant for manufacture of Brass Chrome plated faucets having capacity of 2.5 Million pcs per annum situated at Bhiwadi, Alwar in Rajasthan. The commercial production has been commenced with effect from July 01, 2014.

HSIL is one of the leading domestic players in container glass and building products segments. Under the second segment, the company manufactures and trades in sanitaryware products, faucets and wellness products. It has five manufacturing facilities in India, of which three are located in Andhra Pradesh, one in Rajasthan and one in Haryana.
