L&T surges as its arm bags orders worth Rs 2002 crore

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 1750.60, up by 25.25 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 1725.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1742.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1754.75 and Rs. 1736.00 respectively. So far 65919 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1774.70 on 09-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 678.10 on 28-Aug-2013.

In Power Transmission & Distribution Business, the company has received orders worth Rs 392 crore both international and domestic markets, while in Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business, the company has secured orders worth Rs 1547 crore. Additional orders have also been received from an ongoing job of Water & Renewable Energy Business.
