A2Z Maintenance & Engineering Services has secured orders worth Rs 2400 crore for EPC work against advance purchase order (APO) received by Sterlite Technologies and ITI for end to end deployment including design, engineering, implementation and maintenance of parts of Network for Spectrum (NFS) project -- Optical Fibre Network in the state of J&K and Eastern & North-east part of India for Optical Fibre Network for Defence Services.

The government of India had decided to get the Spectrum released which was held by Defense in the frequency range of 1,700 MHz to 2,000 MHz, owing to growing telecommunication needs and shortage of spectrum available for growth of cellular services. The order is for full rollout of OFC network to be owned and operated by the Defense services, Ministry of Defense (MoD). The said network comprises of a highly resilient exclusive OFC based nationwide Optical Backbone for defense sites and access networks at army sites.

A2ZMaintenance & Engineering Services engaged in providing services to the power transmission and distribution sector with a focus primarily on the distribution segment.The company is diversifying this business to provide EPC services to power generation companies and companies in other sectors, including road and telecommunications.
