SpiceJet launches three-day discounted fare offer in 10 lakh seats

09 Jul 2014 Evaluate

SpiceJet, the second largest low-cost airline, has launched a three-day discounted fare offer in which 10 lakh seats are up for grabs at fares that are lower than even train fares. Under this new offer, the company will sell 10 lakh seats at base fare of Rs 999. The discounts, which would allow passengers to travel at much lower prices across various domestic routes between January 6 and October 24, 2015, can be availed only on the bookings made between July 8 and July 10, 2014.

But the fare of Rs 999 was only one-way starting base fare and all other statutory levies would be extra. The fare would vary from sector to sector depending on the distance travelled, only limited inventory was available and group bookings were exempt from the low fare promo.

SpiceJet is India’s most preferred airline who delivers the lowest air fares with the highest consumer value. The airline currently operates more than 350 daily flights to over 44 Indian cities and 9 international destinations.
